You who revel in your own delight,  
Your eyes so cold, devoid of empathy,  
You tread on hearts, on dreams you trample light,  
Self-centered queens in a Kingdom of the Night.  
Your world, a stage of selfish vanity,  
Where others' pain is but a passing sight.

You speak of love, yet weave deceit’s sweet thread,  
Blind to the cries of those you leave…
